Go Play

Hey. You. Yeah, you. Sitting there in front of your computer. Go outside today. It’s nice out (at least in St. Louis). Go find something fun to do. Like eating on an outdoor deck. Maybe with a margarita. Well, ok, it’s early, so maybe a coffee, THEN a margarita. If I had a garden I’d be out there messing around in the dirt … maybe with a margarita. We had our first seasonal margaritas at Mi Ranchito last night which clearly has me in the mood for more. Have you ever been to Mi Ranchito? Really great margaritas and excellent food. Another surprising restaurant-in-a-strip-mall find.

As far as cooking goes, I did a test run on some sage gnocchi earlier in the week which was super delicious (and relatively easy) and had intended to make a second batch with pictures for the blog today. However, I only got as far as the sage. So, um, here is some sage:

Tomorrow I am going to be working all day editing my shoot in NYC last week, so today I’m gonna make the most of my free time. I’m going outside to play.
