Organic Garlic

My schedule has continued to be a bit crazy lately, although almost everything that has been keeping me busy has been exciting and fun. There is still a lot to do in the loft and then of course there is the pesky task of running a photography business. Earning a living really eats up your time doesn’t it? Still, can’t complain – I love my job!

Last week I flew home to PA to visit the folks and spent a couple of really hot days eating mom’s awesome food and photographing dad’s garden. The amount of textures, surfaces (and of course fresh vegetables) that can be found at my parent’s house these days is amazing. I wish I could pack up dad’s collection of interesting weathered wood to add to my prop collection! Unfortunately, air travel would make that a bit tough.

There is definitely a lot of really beautiful things to photograph at my parent’s house while I’m there in any case. I am working on editing down the several hundred shots I made last week that I will post in a gallery, but for now here is a sneak peek of my dad’s recently harvested organic garlic on this fabulous painted metal table that has been sitting behind my parent’s barn for as long as I can remember.
